CBT & Counselling Tonbridge

My name is Lynne Fleming and I’m a fully qualified counsellor and registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy) based at CBT and Counselling Tonbridge (Hildenborough) practice.

I hold a level 4 diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and my training is predominantly in ‘Person-Centred Counselling’. Although, I work creatively by incorporating Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) techniques into my work to help you move forward.

Alongside running my own private practice, I have been a long-term volunteer with ‘Cruse Bereavement Care’ and a volunteer counsellor at a local hospice. I uphold my professional development through the attendance of training events and courses to ensure my skills and knowledge are continually improving and expanding.

My approach to therapy

I understand that each person is unique and there is a no ‘one size fits all’ approach to therapy. By tailoring my sessions to meet your needs I will give you the best opportunity for positive outcome and change.

I consider myself to be warm, caring and approachable, rather than a blank canvas. That is because, I firmly believe that the key to successful therapy is the relationship we forge together.

Our working relationship at CBT and Counselling Tonbridge will underpin our sessions together. Which will hopefully give you the confidence to share your story with me. The value of being heard is extremely powerful and cannot be underestimated. It is my privilege to hear what you have to say and for you to allow me the opportunity of supporting you to make the changes you set out to achieve.

You will be at the heart of our work we do together, and I offer a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space to help you work through whatever is troubling you.

I offer counselling for all forms of loss (bereavement, relationships, jobs, finances etc). Along with therapy for anxiety, depression counselling, low self-esteem, relationship and work-related problems.

Ethical Standards

I subscribe to and work within the BACP ethical framework, which means I undertake regular professional development and supervision. I hold professional indemnity insurance alongside being registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).

My therapy room is situated in a quiet, private area at Hildenborough Golf and Leisure Club. There is extensive free parking and next to Hildenborough train station.
