Sian Jones — Counsellor & Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Practioner
Location: Online CBT Therapy | BACP Registered | BSc (Hons) Psychology | PGDip in Counselling & CBT
Quick Summary: Here’s a short introduction to Sian and how she can help — you can read more about her below.
Sian is an experienced and compassionate therapist offering online CBT and relationship counselling for adults. She helps with challenges such as anxiety, depression, anger, jealousy, and relationship difficulties. Sian specialises in Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), a form of CBT that helps identify and challenge unhelpful beliefs and replace them with more constructive ways of thinking. With a background in both the corporate and therapy worlds, and qualifications including a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in CBT, Sian provides a warm, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, reduce emotional distress, and make lasting positive changes.
My name is Sian Jones BSc (Hons) and I am a fully qualified Counsellor and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. I am also the founder of CBT and Counselling Kent and have extensive experience in both CBT therapy and counselling. I now specialise exclusively in online CBT therapy and relationship counselling.
The approach I use is called Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), a well-established method under the CBT umbrella, developed by psychologist Albert Ellis. REBT focuses on how our emotions and behaviours are influenced by the beliefs and thoughts we hold about ourselves, others, and the world around us. Through this approach, I help clients identify and challenge unhelpful or self-defeating beliefs and replace them with more constructive and realistic alternatives.
Research shows that the most important factor in successful therapy is the relationship between you and your therapist. I believe my kind, empathetic, and straightforward approach helps people feel at ease and supported to work through the challenges they face.
I offer a warm, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can explore what’s holding you back. Together, we will look at how your beliefs, thoughts, and feelings interact — and how they may be affecting your emotional wellbeing.
Through therapy, I will help you make sense of your situation, reduce confusion, and bring clarity to your thinking — helping you see the wood from the trees. My goal is not to tell you what to do, but to help you feel empowered to make choices that are right for you.
Building a trusting relationship is at the heart of my work. Many clients tell me they appreciate that I don’t just sit and nod — instead, I take an active role in the process, offering reflections, guidance, and genuine conversation to support your recovery and change.
I offer online CBT therapy and counselling for a wide range of difficulties, including:
Before becoming a therapist, I worked for many years in the corporate world, holding a variety of management roles at Coca-Cola Enterprises Ltd. While this might seem very different from therapy, the skills I developed — including communication, structure, and discipline — have been invaluable in my work as a counsellor. It also gave me a broad perspective on life outside the therapy room.
My career change was a deliberate and meaningful decision. Over 10 years, while working full-time, I completed a degree in Psychology and went on to train as a psychotherapist, counsellor and CBT therapist.
I am committed to maintaining the highest professional standards and am a member of both the UKCP and BACP, working in line with their ethical codes. I also undertake regular professional development and hold full professional indemnity insurance.
If you wish to consider medication, or are seeking a medical diagnosis or a medical report, then an appointment with your GP or a Consultant Psychiatrist would be more appropriate

Tracey Neale — Online EMDR & Integrative Therapist
Location: Online EMDR Therapy | BACP Registered | EMDR & CBT Trained
Quick Summary: Here’s a short introduction to Tracey and how she can help — you can read more about her below.
Tracey is an experienced and compassionate therapist offering EMDR, counselling, and CBT online for individuals and couples. She helps with a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, anger, addiction, bereavement, relationship difficulties, and childhood trauma. Tracey is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing) and integrates CBT and other therapies to meet your individual needs. With over 10 years of experience in private practice and the NHS, Tracey creates a warm, supportive space where you can work through past experiences, process trauma, and develop healthier ways of coping.
Hello, I’m Tracey Neale, a fully qualified online EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) practitioner. I am also trained in Integrative Counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and I work with both individuals and couples.
As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a variety of therapeutic approaches depending on what feels right for you. Whether we are working together using EMDR, CBT, or counselling, I will always adapt the sessions to meet your individual needs.
About EMDR Therapy
The mind has a natural ability to heal itself, much like the body does — and much of this happens during REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep. However, when we experience trauma — whether from childhood, a recent event, or an ongoing situation — this natural healing process can become overwhelmed. This can leave us with unresolved distress, often felt as anxiety, intrusive thoughts, or emotional overwhelm.
EMDR helps process these “frozen” memories safely. Using techniques such as eye movements or bilateral tapping, EMDR enables the brain to continue its natural healing process. It is highly effective in treating trauma, anxiety, and other emotional difficulties. You can find out more via the EMDR Association UK.
A question I’m often asked is: Does EMDR really work online? The answer is yes — absolutely. Therapists have been successfully using EMDR online for many years. Since the pandemic, new platforms such as Bilateral Base have been developed specifically to support safe and effective online EMDR sessions.
Counselling provides a safe, confidential space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. Together, we will look at how past experiences may be affecting your life today.
CBT, which is often helpful alongside counselling, focuses on how your thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and physical sensations are linked. By breaking unhelpful cycles, CBT can help you manage anxiety, depression, and other emotional difficulties more effectively.
I firmly believe that my own personal experiences have helped shape me into a warm, empathetic, and understanding counsellor. This means I can offer you a confidential, non-judgemental space to explore your difficulties and gain insight into where they may have originated. Together, we will also look at how you view yourself, others, and the world around you.
Through the counselling relationship, we will work together to create positive change, at a pace that feels right for you.
I have over 10 years’ experience as a therapist, working within private practice and NHS IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) services.
No issue is too big or too small. Whatever you are facing, we will work together to help you find clarity and move forward.
I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work within their ethical framework. I also undertake regular supervision and ongoing professional development to ensure I offer safe and effective therapy.
